Himalayan Distillery declares 70% dividend

Kathmandu: Himalayan Distillery has announced 70% dividend. The meeting of the board of directors of the company held today on Friday has decided to give a total of 70% dividend from last year's profit by 60% bonus shares and 10% cash with tax purposes. Last year, it distributed 100% dividend with 75% bonus shares and 25% cash including tax purposes.On the other hand, the company will hold the Annual General Meeting on January 27 to pass the dividend distribution proposal. The meeting will be held at the company's registered office at Lipnivirta in Virganj municipality. Himalayan will close the book for the meeting on 20th of January. Only the shareholders remaining till January 19 will be eligible to receive the proposed dividend and participate in the meeting.
